Hocking Hills State Park offers over 25 miles of hiking

trails alone. It is no wonder the Hocking Hills region has become a primary spot

for visitors seeking a mixture of adventure and relaxation!




The park is made up of 6 major regions:

Ash Cave - Best known for a beautiful waterfall and being one of the largest recess caves in Ohio.


Old Man's Cave - Long recess cave with numerous waterfalls, tunnels and breathtaking cliff edges.


Cedar Falls - A beautiful cascading waterfall and unique rock formations.


Cantwell Cliffs - Distinctive rock formations and wonderful display of wildflowers in spring and birding in summer.

Conkle's Hollow - Two trails - an upper and lower. One of Autumn's spectacular views on the upper level and a wheelchair-accessible walkway on the lower level.






Rock House - Cathedral-like rock opening closest to a true cave in the Hocking Hills.

Other Notable Areas Only a Short Drive Away:

Lake Hope State Park - Includes a mountain bike trail, historical iron furnace and a nature center.

Zaleski State Forest - Offers a backpack trail and miles of forested hiking trails.

Wayne National Forest - Features numerous activities including ATV and horseback riding trails and hiking trails.
